[Game] Superpowers

Here's a fun thing I found on Reddit a while back.

Here's how this breaks down:

I make a post saying what kind of superpower I'd like to have, but the NEXT poster gets to determine what limitations my superpower has.

Example:
Poster 1: "I'd like the ability to see through clothing."
Poster 2: "BUT, you can ONLY see though clothing. You must wear a blindfold at all times."

Then Poster 2 gets to have a superpower limited by poster 3, and so on.

Get it? Cool.


I get the ability of flight.

Since you didn't specify the altitude, you only get to fly 1mm above the ground, which looks the same as just walking.

I wish I could summon MEETEEEEORRRs

BUT, you can't control when you get to summon them. At the worst possible times sounds accurate!


The power to talk to animals!

Granted; but while testing it out in the zoo you learn that you have no control over your words. You accidentally insult an entire gorilla family, and have to run for life while crying and cursing your fate.

I wish I had the power to understand all this complex study material in one go!

Granded as well: BUT your thirst for knowledge doesn't stop there and you are ready to consume all the books of the entire world and get in danger of overexhausted

I d like to be able to have the superpower of communication. To be able to understand not only through the language barrier but also between the lines some people use.

Granted; but unfortunately such knowledge is too much for a human brain, thus you forget everything right after understanding it.

The teleport? I never followed Dr.Who so I don't really know much about it, but maybe it's the phone boot time machine (I think it's called tardis). In that case I was thinking more about a teleport without any machine: just thinking about wanting to move to a place brings you there.

I'd like the eletrical domain super power. Sending a EMP on that loud hip hop shit at neighbor's house XD would be the first thing i'd do.

Unfortunately the EMP radius is always centered around you: you better stack up books to enjoy your pre industrial lifestyle.

The awkward part is they can summon themselves each time you feel any excitement so good luck having a girlfriend when she enters the room and you go flying and boucing around the room.

I want the power to live endlessly

Granted, but eventually you grow tired of this immortality and everything feels like a tedious drag. You involve yourself in all kinds of evil schemes and plots to make things a bit more amusing and end up as a real life equivalent of Kaliga, scorn by everyone.

I want the power to record my dreams like a movie!

Granted but like any other movie they'll be shown to every theater in the proximity. That may create some awkward moments

Granted, but you soon get depressed as you learn that everyone lies and puts on a mask all the time, while the truth is nowhere to be soon.

I want the power .. /snaps fingers/ to catch 'em all!

I'd like the ability to control the wind

Granted; but you control over the wind has distorted the natural balance between the elements. Seas of lava, immeasurable deep fissures and rains of thunder cause many to perish, while they curse you with their last breath.

I'd like the ability to freeze time.

and u can freeze time but u can actually only turn time into ice

not stopping it
