Aion Tips & Tricks

Greetings, Regians!

I thought of making something for the community, by the community. I believe everyone knows certain aspects about the game, some better than others, and by combining this knowledge we can all benefit from it. So, post any interesting, trivial or unknown tips & tricks for Aion! All entries will be collected and put into a list. I'll start off.

Aion 101: Tips & Tricks

• Useful Shortcuts: These will save a few slots on your menu bars!
  - [ (left square bracket) for pet menu (when you have pet summoned)
  - . (dot) for run/walk
  - , (comma) to sit down/rest
  - "x" to switch between combat/passive mode
  - "Control + Z" to change weapon
  - "B" activate powershards
  - "F12" to hide interface
  - "Shift + F12" to hide players (useful during siege/events).
  
• Steel Rake on Fast-Track Server: Talk to the Shugo NPCs to the left of the Heiron Broker building to enter Steel Rake while on fast-track.
  
• Fast Draupnir Cave/Nute Warrens: Talk to the Stone Teleport Statue in Middleton (Heiron), near the Kishar Obserstion Village. You will be ported to the top of a mountain from where you can simply glide down to the Draupnir Cave entrance/Nute Warrens.
  
• Fast Indratu Fortress/Nute Warrens final area: From the Kishar Observation Post, head into the village and talk to the "Secret passage" near the waterfall in the pond on the right. A free teleport to the deepest part of the Nute Warrens, where the entrance to Indratu Fortress is also located.
  
• Asmo Radar: Create a new chattab. Go into the tab options and turn off all messages except the 5 message types for "Enemy's [Buff/Atk/Repeat effect] etc." under "Combat Others". Place your mouse on the name of the tab above the window. Drag-drop it somewhere on the screen where you like it. Whenever there is Asmo activity within 40m radius you will be alerted.
  
• Enchantment: Probability of success depends on level and quality of gear. Probability is capped at 80% without supplements.
  Heroic: use stones of (gear level + 20) for best results.
  Fabled: stone level = (gear level + 30).
  Eternal: stone level = (gear level + 40).
  so for my Miragent set I had to use L80 stones (lvl 50, fabled +30) to have 80% chance each enchantment stone would work . Each level represents about 1% chance, so i just used L70's at 70% success rate 'cos they're so much cheaper ^^
  
• Inventory: You can get 10 extra rows of space without using cash shop items. See this thread for details. Vindachinerk = on bridge near city of roah.
  
• Fast Greater Stigma Quests (no instance): Don't feel like running Steel Rake and Dark Poeta to unlock your first 3 greater stigma slots? At lv.45, talk to Chaokin right next to the SR entrance in Sanctum. Do his daily, and get 20x Groggie which you can exchange for the quest items you need (for the first 3 expansion quests)

To make some Kinah - I found it useful to gather materials in the field then check the broker for their current lowest unitary price and bid them

Fast Greater Stigma Quests (no instance): Don't feel like running Steel Rake and Dark Poeta for your first 3 greater stigma slots? At lv.45, talk to Chaokin right next to the SR entrance in Sanctum. Do his daily, and get 20x Groggie which you can exchange for the quest items you need.

1. Making fast Kinah + exp + AP at the same time for 37+ lvl = farming guys- the old fashion way best place reshanta>western shard of latesran upper layer ... NPC Tiberius (?!) ... 250 AP each run + 1,2 mil exp + 5 gold coins + 1 golden box wich will contain atleast 3 gold coins wich you'll sell it at broker ...
2. Making fast Kinah = Create a new toon, lvl up till 9, go to Pernos and finish Ascension + Ceremony in Sanctum > go on Atreian Atlas and get your free rewards : 1xdye white/black, 1xfashion event armor, 5xlvl17 stones > sell it to broker ... delete char, repeat and repeat ... 30 min work
This no longer works.

I mainly get my kinah from events (luck with rewards or from selling the event items themselves) & from doing lv65 content. The kinah is at endgame, so there's motivation to aim for lv65.

For instance, I do stuff like:
- lv65 instances (Sauro/DR/DS) for skins and other drops worth selling. DR weapon skin = 22-25mil. Sauro armor top = ~13mil, etc. DS is especially nice for kinah since it gives skins but also AC + blue/yellow ancient manastones.
- BM Weeklies, where I convert the Blood Marks into Greater Mythic Supplements at one of the camps and NPC those.
- Go to Panesterra and buy Greater Mythic Supplement bundles using AP -> sell the supps to NPC.
- Levinshor. Do Linkgate Foundry and hope for eternal manastone bundle. Farm Tomul mobs near Elyos camps (they drop composite/ancient manastone bundles and ancestor relic if lucky).
- Do normal lv60+ quests..they usually give 225k each or so.
- Selling scrolls made via alchemy can also make for a decent income.

And of course, you can always upload NCoin and sell emotes/costumes/EB scrolls or something.

you better convert them in mith supply's(if your lucky you get even a composite bag) and sell them at NPC,,,you make more kinah than AC converting and selling

This goes for lvl65 only,,,,as you all know,we have a once /week big fight btw races/servers for some fort, this is called Panesterra, around each fort ar 4 camps,each camp has a supply selling NPC, you can buy 3 boxes each week for 39 k ap,,, for each box you get 70 mith greater supply s,,,so if you have some spare ap and need kinah, take a visit there,if we have 1 fort at least
