[Event] Design Your Own Title! (15/11 - 30/11)

Greetings, Regians!

As you may have noticed, we have a wide selection of ranks and titles at the forum here. These are the fancy names and stars (★) that show above your display picture, with more elusive titles becoming available as your stay / post count increases. What you may not know yet, though, is that they are more than just randomly selected names. They are all tied in to the Regias Lore, and basically tell your progress. As a honourable citizen, you start off as a farmer on the countryside and work your way up to nobility. After that, you enlist in the Regias Corps and make career as a legionary, as you fight to protect the very same lands where you lived in peace as a citizen. Following that, your skills bring you to the Regias vanguard and, ultimately, to the position of Regian Lord or Lady.

This is the title system as is. Now, it is YOUR turn. Design your own title using your own imagination.

Participation Rules

• All Regias members can participate.
  
• You can submit one entry.
  
• Entries can be posted to this thread until 23 November midnight (GMT).
  
• Keep it 18- friendly.
  

What do I do?

• Have a look at our "Ranks & Titles" thread to get a general idea: https://regias.forumotion.net/t27-forum-ranks-titles
  
• Design your own Rank & Title! Will it be funny, witty, classy or fancy? Will it contain special symbols, such as a music note (♪ ♫) or a zodiac sign? (♐ ♋). If so, how many? Will you give it a font colour? And if so, entirely or only a part of it? In other words -- sky is the limit!
  

Tips & Advice

• Don't make your title too long! A title such as (Regias Vanguard - ★★★★ Executive Commander) is about the max. amount of characters we can use (excluding html tags for colour & center). There is a limit of 43 characters, including spaces.
  
• Keep in mind lengthy titles may receive line breaks.

• Your decide: Will your winning title be exclusively available to you, and proudly span on your profile only? Or will you make it available to all members? If the latter, should it have a post count requirement or will it be an exclusive title obtainable through events? In short: you decide on the role of your own title!

If i win i'd set it as an event title considering the post requirement for this would have to be way over the current max and no one is anywhere near that

As coincidence has it, we do happen to have quite a lot of female members among our ranks .. a blessing, or a curse in disguise? Either way, I'm sure Holly as well will find some "sisters-in-arms" here and join the others in suppressing us poor males.

yeah been in the guild for a while this is my first real venture into the forums so still getting my bearings a bit.

wait i'm confused you put female symbols in your title but your a guy right o.o your profile says male lol but your going with making yourself a wench?

lol its the symbol for the planet Venus but ehhh didn't realize the title would get placed on me oh well wouldn't be the first time I've been called a wench surprisingly enough.

It won't xD

If your entry wins it will be incorporated into our title system in the way you want (eg. will it be a normal title, event/special title, gender-based title? requirements to obtain? available to you only or available to all? etc.)

Unless you want it to be used for yourself, of course. But by default the winning title will be incorporated into our title system.

Which is the right thing to do. There is a limit of one font colour per title due to the large amount of character that is consumed by the necessary coding.

If your title has more than one colour, don't worry -- it can still win. But, I will discuss with you about the limits and what one font colour you'd like to use.

To give an example, here is the coding of my title (seen on the left)

Furthermore, non-standard colours that need to be entered with a # and a number will, obviously, require more character than a colour like "red" or "gold".

This one is for our female members out there  (sorry, guys). It probably rings a bell to Miirei since it's related to back when we were playing on EU but I won't say anything else.

The trident (planet Neptune) somehow reminds me of the devil so I thought it fits perfectly

Three possible reasons:

1. Feminism on the rise.
2. The idea that games / guilds are overpopulated by males. Thus, females create a stronger sense of unity / "girls sticking together". In reality, about 75% of the gamers are actually female.
3. Some simple explanation that I overlook, is logical to women, and thus will never be understood by me.

it's #2 but don't worry about #3 thats not your fault thats because women are crazy, and no girl can truly get mad if she thinks about it long enough

RULE: all women are crazy(at times), all men are dicks (at times)

I just know for sure that it's no 3.

living with one as long as i have i now understand about 90% of there unique language but the last 10% is very hard to decode for that i must study them in there natural habit with eath other to decode the light speed exchange of words

Thought this thread was supposed to be for the Title Contest, not guy-gossip about women ¬.¬
