[Event] A Regian Christmas! (20/12 - 5/1)

Greetings, Regians!

Christmas is around the corner, and you are all invited to celebrate it with us! The world of Atreia is ready for Solorius, and so is the city of Regias. To help you get through the cold winter days we have compiled a series of events that we think you may enjoy. Have fun!


How it works? Simple! Go around and participate in the various in-game & forum events to begin collecting Snowman Points ('SP'). The more you participate, the more (and exclusive) Christmas presents you will reel in! The snowmen look like this:

Throughout the event period, we will be updating the amount of SP you obtained so far periodically. Rewards will be send out as soon as possible.

#1: Search the Snowmen (20 / 30 SP)
The forum was invaded by snowmen last night! Find all 10 of them and PM me their locations before they melt away on 1 January 2014.

• Each snowman is worth 2 SP.
  
• Participation until 1 January 2014.
  
• The snowmen appear as the image above in 10 different places on the forum page. They can be anywhere -- in threads, section, etc. so give your eyes a good look around!
  
• To save yourself some effort: they do NOT appear in threads without the [Event] prefix. So don't spend days digging through all posts on the forum
  
• Think you found them all? Send me a PM with their locations by clicking this fancy mail icon:
  
• Rumour has it that Santa himself will appear somewhere on the forum on 25 & 26 December! Relaying his position to me will earn you 10 SP
  

#2: A Regias Christmas Tale (?? SP)
Not as great as Charles Dickens' Christmas stories, but we will be writing our own Christmas tale. Head to the thread below (it's found as an announcement in the Third District) and join us in this endeavour!

#3: Christmas Contest (5 / 15 / 25 SP)
Show us your creativity! For this year's final contest we are going ALL-OUT: we've dug deep down our wallets, and the consequence is that I'm spending Christmas on a park bench with some fried noodles, besides SP, there will be an exclusive purple Couture Clothing and Solorius weapon skin for the winners! Participation alone will earn you 5 SP, and if you consider that ALL forms of entries (written, drawn, animated etc.) are allowed for this contest (as long as it's Christmas themed), this is a golden chance to show us what you are capable of!

• Participation (submitting an entry) earns you 5 SP.

AION In-Game Celebration (20 SP)
On the evening of 26 December there will be an opportunity to briefly celebrate Christmas with the legion. We gather at 2000 hours (GMT) at my house (click here to see what time that is for you). We will head to Sanctum shortly thereafter. There, we will have a short Hide & Seek and mini PvP Tourney. The whole event should only take about 1 hour of your time.

If you decide to show up and participate / stay until the end, you will have earned yourself 20 SP as well as a small Christmas present. Curious to find out what I am keeping under my tree? Show up and find out!

Don't write that here, write it to me in a PM once you've found them all

Since people seem to have some difficulty in finding all Snowmen (you don't -have- to find them all, by the way ) here are some tips!  

4 can be found in sections
3 are in a thread
The last 3? Just be a bit creative..they are not in sections or threads Tried my signature, for one?

Santa has been hidden! Find him before the 26th and send me his location in PM for 10 SP!

Also a BIG congratulations to Eliii for winning the creativity contest! With his breathtaking entry (link above) he surely earned his reward: the Couture Clothing Costume dyed in rich purple is now his, along with a selection of rare dyes as a small bonus! Besides this he also earned his 15-day in-game cloud mount which will take him across the maps in the blink of an eye, and if you visit his studio you will see a Christmas table to remind you of this year's Solorius.
