Fate/Zero (or rather the entire trilogy) is a great series and has a great soundtrack to go with it. So .. watch it!

Ciel told me to watch "Tokyo ghoul" as well, and I did. But i haven't seen him online to talk about it.

Since you will watch it, here are a few tips.

Fate/Zero is the prequel to the series, and focuses on the 4th Holy Grail War (10 years ago). You can watch it anytime. Fate/Stay night is the "present" of the series, and focuses on the 5th Holy Grail War.

Fate/stay night is the default/Saber route (3 routes available), but since it was made some years ago the graphics are rather poor.
Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works is the second route (Rin). There is a movie of it, but there is also a TV adaption being aired right this instant which I recommend .. amazing quality and let's be fair, Rin route = best route.

Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel is the 3rd (Sakura) route and has not been made into a series yet.
