atackspeed on books/orbs

I am reading on forums that they use an atackspeed book or orb on the mage (sorc /SM ).
Whats the benefit of it?
I thought only the /atack was going faster than

it is..

the 2nd benefit is the animation which will go faster. We all know the dmg is already done while the skill is still on animation. That takes time to cast your next skill. Atk speed solves that problem.

Imo combine atkspeed with castingspeed book.
- atkspeed to remove animation
- casting speed to get les chance to get interrupted while casting

Yup correct I had a 19% attack speed book combined with a 19% Casting speed boost.
Since the cspeed doesn't stack this is the best option.

Attack + Cast Speed is pretty nice stuff. Only problem is that attack speed books/orbs are rare and thus expensive. There's Lannok / Triroan at lv50 and Terath Orb/Book at lv60 but that's about all I am aware of.

Been searching for that combi for long time indeed back then, the orbs I could find where very expensive like you said Vanland. Like 100kk+
So I took an platinum orb if I'm right with 15% atk speed. (not 19%)

Sooooo just combine them xD
