BTW does anyone else feel that the prestige pack is NCSoft's way of nyerking us over once more? Pay to access instances and have kinah?

And the prestige pack, I honestly don't get what the fuss is about. No one forces you to buy it, no one forces you to do those 61+ instances. If you'd take away basic liberties like LFG, broker, trade etc. then ok, fair enough, but this? The only people that I imagine have a "problem" with this are either:

1) Tryhard /  "Want to be PvP" people that see others w/ prestige pack getting a headstart and get all hurt in their pride. But guess what, 4.0 will be here for a while. In the end you'll get at the same point as them lol
2) People who are bored / dissatisfied with the game / hate on the concept of "companies making money" and bash on this just for the sake of letting out some frustration.
3) Longtime players of AION who see their beloved game slowly but surely degenerate.

Kinah boost > I doubt anyone even loots kinah off mobs lol
Instance CD Pack > Only useful item
Medal Box > 95% chance for Platinum anyways. RNG remember.
3x 1-hour scrolls > lol

Every F2P game turns P2W sooner or later. I've seen it over and over in games I used to like and play dedicated, until I came to realize "screw it" and just went casual PvE carebear mode. And since then it's been a lot more fun playing stuff. No drama, no anger, just wasting time and when the game is beyond repair you move on to the next one.

I have to say it's still not as bad as EU's goldpack that you pretty much need in order to use chat function and the broker which should be avaliable anyway as a core part of the game.

But really I looked into the prestige pack's contents and the only usable/worth it stuff was the instance cooldown pack...

While my game was downloading after their 'wonderful' update last week, I managed to read about 16 pages from the original forum post regarding the prestige pack and it's exactly what Mii said. Wannabe elitists/no lifers whose only ambition is to reach endgame as fast as possible and be a PvP hot shot.

I honestly wouldn't mind waiting a few days for an instance CD, just like I don't mind waiting for abyss siege or weekend arena.

I agree it's a useless pack, but I really don't like the precedent it sets ... What bugs me is that it's a (semi)-subscription. I don't mind instance cooldown scrolls, shop titles, whatever, but I can see this being extended (prestige pack to decrease broker fees / list more than 10 items / use "special" direct teleporters anyone?)

First they came for the instances, and we did not cry out, for we are not no-life losers ... /EndParanoia

Don't mind pay-to-win though, it's true that ridiculously simple to convert dollar -> kinah -> buy best gear +15 with passes, like so many said, let the tryhards have their fun, doesn't stop us enjoying it too.
