Hey y'all!

Just wanted to check what professions and sub-professions we are doing. If we are going to do different prof to be a bit expandable in crafting items, etc. I checked http://www.bladeandsouldojo.com/topic/128931-psycats-guide-on-choosing-your-sub-professions/ and wanted to know what y'all wanna do?

At the moment Boat, Duck and I have split five of the seven crafting guilds on NA:

Sae: Soul Warden + Merry potters with Green Thumbs + Tree Fellers
Boat: Handicrafting + Forgekeeper with Stonecutter + Miner
Duck: Cooking + Merry Potters with Hunting + Green Thumbs

Right now if we wanted just one of each to help with guild crafting then we'd need someone to pick up:

Alchemy + Pharmacy with Fishing + Herbalist

We will probably end up making a thread just to see what the crafting distribution is like in the guild.

gotcha, yeah I wasn't too sure if the guild was going to consider crafting as a major part. I'll go ahead and do Alchemy + Pharmacy with Fishing + Herbalist since it matches my character's persona XD

What I -wanted- to do was Soul Warden + Merry potters with Green Thumbs + Tree Fellers. But since we need all professions covered I rolled with Radiant Ring/Forgekeepers + Stonecutters/Prospector (EU server). At least I can craft gems and hopefully some nice weapon skins later Razz

Alright, so. It turns out Jewelcrafting is bugged (all accessory recipes are bugged and don't show up) which is a major letdown as it means you can only level it through gem pouches and keys at the moment. The problem is that keys are not profitable in the slightest (a stack of 10 earns you ~25 silver total in comparison to 80+ silver of material costs) so it's a really barebones job at the moment.

For weaponsmith the repair tools likewise are a major letdown. 19 bronze a piece, with some luck. Lv2 crafted weapons earn even less and the skins of the purple/rare recipes are actually used by other models in the game too.

So yeah, I'm thinking of just crafting a massive amount of repair tools to last me for the rest of the game and then drop weaponsmith and/or jewelcraft to go for earthseers or something. I'd like to keep jewelcraft but the gem fragment pouches/gems (ingredients for making diamond pouches) are just skyrocketing in price to the point where it isn't even funny anymore. People request roll on green items or above as loot setting (instead of default blue and above only) in dungeons since the gem fragment pouches are just that valuable, more than anything else in the dungeon. Which is pretty messed up.
