[BnS] Launch Preperations + Preperation Schedule

Greetings, Regians!

As the public release of Blade & Soul is rapidly coming close now would be an excellent time to go over the launch preparations and other matters that need addressing.

BnS Launch Guide + New Client
NCSoft has been as kind as to compile a launch guide for the game which will aid you in your launch preparations for the game. It can be viewed here: http://www.bladeandsoul.com/en/news/launch-guide/

You will need to uninstall the CB client and install a new, official release client which is found here: http://download.bladeandsoul.com/BnS_Lite_Installer.exe

!! If you want to save your CB Screenshots & Character Presets it is imperative that you make a backup of your "Pictures\BnS" folder!! Just to be on the safe side.

If you want to save any mods you are using make backups of any custom folders within the "NCSOFT\BnS CBT\contents\bns\CookedPC" and/or "NCSOFT\BnS CBT\contents\Local\NCWEST\ENGLISH\CookedPC" directories.

Simply copy the folder(s) and all of their contents somewhere (or right-click > send to .zip) and put them back once you have installed the new client.

Update on the NA Server + Faction Vote
The NA Server vote and Faction Vote threads are due for closure in three days (Jan 11th), so make sure you have submitted your votes before then. These votes will determine whether we will have an NA branch of the guild in addition to our EU branch, and what faction we'll be rolling for the rest of the game. In other words, these votes will shape much of the guild's future in BnS so it is highly recommended that you have your say.
Voting is over! We are also making a branch on the NA servers! Faction is Cerulean Order.

Preparation Schedule

1. After the results from the polls are in and we see enough interest for an NA branch of the guild we will contact the people who voted "#2" in the NA server poll select an NA officer team.
   
2. Guild Name Suggestions: We will accept new guild name suggestions until the 11th. Since the amount of participation/interest with regards to this subject seems rather low, our intention is to use Regias as a guild name both for our EU branch and for our possible NA branch.
   
   However, since I am not sure if the same guild name can be used twice or can be re-used again if the guild is deleted in some scenario we may throw in a vote with ~5 options just so we have a "backup name" or plan B at hand.
   
3. We will also be making new member rosters: one for EU, one for NA (again, if applicable). ALL users are required to sign-in to the roster of their choice. No exceptions. This because member slots in BnS are limited, and because it will be easier for our officers to keep track of who needs an invite etc. this way. We can also check who of our CB players is still around for the official launch of the game. You can find more info about this new system in the new roster threads. Done.
   
4. We will also be making a crafting roster (we need to pick and balance our professions well to get the most out of it), go over the guild rules for our BnS branch (e.g. alt limit, inactivity). Finally, we will also update the BnS Officer roster/server info thread with all relevant info as we have it (e.g. server name).
   

In other words, check back occasionally as things will get pretty busy.

Two things i would like to add/clarify:
First: I removed my BnS CB client without saving any screenshots or character appearances, and they did not get deleted.
Second: The launch guide mentions that the same player name can exist in both NA and EU branches but not in the servers within the same branch. So, I would give it a 99% possibility that it also applies to guild names.

1. That means Zikiri will immediately be demoted, seeing as he told me that would happen.
2. We'll still run a vote. Remember how we thought that deleting Regias would free the name up again and it didn't happen.
