Aion :Cleric Basics !

This guide is for Clerics
is you want to support large groups  and open world PvP .

1) STIGMAS :

a) Supporting Cleric (You're main role) :

To support a large group, Friends , or legion members you should be playing in full healing spec, which looks as follows:

Flash of Recovery
Splendor of Recovery
Splendor of Purification
Splendor of Rebirth
Shatter Memory
Ripple of Purification
Summon Healing Servant
Benevolence

These stigmas are not part of the greater stigma tree but you can choose one of em to fit your healing tree clerics:
Noble Grace
Saving Grace
Sage’s Wisdom
( all 3 very handy believe me)

This leaves one stigma slot of choice:
Grace of Empyrean Lord – 12s buff, skills cost no mana, instant cast 3m cooldown.
Sympathetic Heal – single target heal which also heals the cleric, 2s cast, 10s cooldown. Heals for more than healing light/light of recovery.
Blinding Light – enemy is blinded for 20s, instant cast, 5m cooldown. (usless in healing spec unless you're trying to solo pvp very handy against Phy-attack classes)


b) DPS cleric (SOLO PvP)

Well if you have good ping (not like me) the stigma build am gonna show you is sick !!!
with some skills and practice you can own people !!!

anyway 4 a DPS cleric you gonna RLY need this stigmas NO EXCEPTIONS:

Flash of Recovery
Noble Grace
Grace of empyrean Lords
Sage's Wisdom
Earth's Warth
Blinding light (vs phy-classes) or/with Festering Wound
Retribution Lightning  
Punishing Earth
Sacrificial Power
Chain of suffering ( best skill ever can't be potted by greater healing skill ONLY cleric can dispel it and last for 2 min gives dmg. every 12 sec) A MUST HAVE.
Hand of renc
Summon Noble energy (grait DD if only in range otherwise its usless)


2) Equipment

Well Cleric in aion must have multiple set and the 3 basics one are :
a) Full MR set (with shield) mace socket with your choice for pvp (MR or MA/MB)
b)Full block set
c)Full HP set

with those 3 sets you gonna need to make you're own changing gear macros :

a) Magic resist set is good but as u know is DOES not 100% resist all the spells but if you are lucky you can resist a fear lock (like i did) !!!
you can also resist assassin's ambush and stun lock and you can blind him and kite him to death.

b) block set : the block set is good 4 both pvp and pve especially against gladis.
It’s advised to go full block which will make you reach 3491, or up to 3691 with a chanter using word of protection and shield mantra. There are occasionally people in full accuracy sets but these are still a minority.

c)full HP set : one word Zerg time !!!
It is possible for you to get over 17k or more hp in Aion with chanter buffs +food. Although this means you can soak a lot of damage.

PS : 3.2 Cast speed vs attack speed.
Cleric’s have the choice between atk/cast speed mace and atk/cast speed gloves. Atk speed allows for faster Dispel and instant heals.
cast speed lets long-cast heals like Splendor of Recovery and Radiant Cure land much earlier. also you can summon the noble energy (both DD / healing/ in 0 sec that means you can summon it while kiting it u can even notice it !



3) General tips

a) Binding Binding Binding and BINDING !!!!

I)Binding players and skills
It is extremely important for support cleric to be properly bound his skills for prober and none clumsy reaction so if you are a clicker that's fine ( i am a clicker ) and i use a mouse with lots of buttons XD
and if you are a keyB user thats a lot easier just bind you're movement with arrows if you want and u have the hole KeyB to use it as you like and try to bind you're skills that have the same effects or smth in their specific areas 4 exp ; healing skills with number , attacking with letters, etc ...
-bind every skill needed

II) Stay away from AoE and stuff :
If you see boss trying to use his aoe dont waist you're 5k shield just get away from the range and KEEP selecting you're tank after putting saving grace on cloth (mage sm or SW if you have one in ur grp) or leather .

III)Dont you ever take you're finguer from Cleanse skill (ofc after you bind it with the proper bind)

That skill is VERY important 4 us and our friends it does literally CLEANE all debuffs from you're semf and any selected target that mean SM can't kill you unless he kept you in a fear lock.

VI) find you're own fighting style agaist every class and know their skills : know you're enemy

I shall heed its words. (tho I suck at pvp in general....plus high ping and sudden lag spikes are not helping it xC)

so your not a fan of call lighting or saving grace for dps cleric?

But...  Call Lightning is such a badass skill in pvp(?) if you pair it with Sage's Wisdom... if it crits,the better xD

but the cd on saving grace makes redundant i mean ya it's a nice boost but trying 2 cast that in pvp just waists time for such a short boost and most sm's don't know how 2 layer the silence effectively whats gonna get you more than anything is the fear and nothing u can do about that

Fear isn't such a big deal at all <_<

a good sm u won't resist fears with my sm can perma keep people with full mr armor

i know  fearlock , as a cleric dont scare me , bcz ill be running with 17k HP full HP set + food and chanter buff even if i was dispelled ill be down to 15k so i can get out of the lock dispel then heal ... sm is easy 4 clerics :p

not for my sm i drop so many cleric officers u cant dispel if i've covered silence as your coming out of fear and re-chaining silence and fear to where no matter what even with greater healing and dispel your screwed and i dot all up for like 3k a sec so i only need 2 keep u immobile for around 10 secs

Well the sad fact is u can ONLY win against clerics ( i mean good ones) with only fear lock :p so when u duel any cleric with no fear XD ur pretty much screwed

oh i almost always have mine up 1 min cd isn't hard

So I have a spare 55C1 set now, I want to use it for both chars
Cleric PVP and Chanter healing.
What should I get HP or Block?
Nice guide will use it for sure when my cleric is in need of levels.
