[Aion] Centurion Applications (Finished)

Greetings, Regians!

Over the last few weeks / months our legion has gone through a lot of changes. We expanded our numbers to over a hundred, completed months of hard work in the form of the jump to Lv.7, and our forum picked up steam at long last. Each of them are big changes which bring along equally big impacts; for that reason we decided to stop recruitment temporarily about a week ago. But, things will not remain that way forever. As a legion, we still have our ambitions. The road to Lv.8 is long. The road to getting our name on forts is harsh. In other words, there is a lot that needs doing. Too much for us to handle. So that is why we are calling on YOUR help!

We are looking for a few Centurions to join us on the Officer Team and become part of the foundation that will bring the <Regias Corps> and all its members to Lv.8! Interested? Read on!

Applications until Sunday 14 July

Requirements:
* Good English
* Active
* Forum Account
* >2 weeks in legion.
* Have at least one character >lv.40 in the legion.

Tasks:
* Recruitment: We expect you to aid in recruitment from time to time.
This involves posting an occasional recruitment message on LFG, having a chat with potential or interested players / answering their question, and making the right choices (No elitists, PvP fanatics or ill-mannered people.)
* Forum Activity: You are expected to frequently show your face on and activity contribute to the forum.
* Mentor: Offer to give our lowbies a hand with their mentor dailies / campaigns / instances from time to time.
Remember, you are NOT forced to help anyone. Helping should always be voluntary on your part and be done in moderation, lest you become an errand boy.
* Questions: Answer some questions our folks may have. After a while (or when you've had enough of it) just redirect them to our forum, the NA forum, or Google. Info is everywhere. Don't be a walking Wiki.
* Decisions: Give your thoughts on some officer-related discussions in the Officer Hall on the forum from time to time.

Benefits:
* Access to the Officer-only section: Only you and a few others know what will hit the Regias Corps next.
* Rank: A fancy rank both in-game and on the forum.
* Artifacts: Able to activate artifacts our legion controls.
* Events: Getting to help with planning / hosting events for our members (= fun!)

* Previous experience (if any)
* Why you want to be a Centurion for the <Regias Corps>
* Why specifically YOU would make a good Centurion.

* Anything I should know (periodical absence, etc.)

You're making me so nervous, well whoever is chosen can get ready for slavery awesome work next week. :DHow close your come* the applications earlier than before though?

Rather than 1.5 weeks I figured half a week would be enough for those interested to write an application. And hey, the sooner the new centurions can get to work, the sooner I can shift my focus to the various other matters that require my attention, such as introducing the RPG, Regias Academy and re-opening recruitment.

My summer vacation doesn't last forever, y'know?  I'd rather get all the legion management stuff sorted out as soon as possible rather than having long waiting periods.

I'm interested in Regias Academy but re-opening recruitment...? How come your re-opening recruitment when the legion already has over 100 members? I thought you preferred quality over quantity. I don't mind new members (since it's always nice to meet more people! ^^) but the legion has a lot of members already (unless they're inactive, then I can understand why you want to recruit more, highly doubt that's the reason though). Just wondering. :3 Hope it doesn't come out harsh, not trying to say your decision is bad, just would like the reasoning behind it.

We have ~110 members, but a vast majority of those is going inactive at an alarming rate. You see, a lot of players returned to 4.0 / made alts to try out the Gunner/Bard, but they found out that there isn't much to do besides that. So, they leave again. Every hype dies down sooner or later. In the case of 4.0, this is sooner than later.

My reason for re-opening recruitment (soon) is that the infamous "only 1-3 people online" situations have been reoccurring over the last week, and I can only see them occurring more and more often over the following weeks. Of course, things liven up at night but it is not good if having 10 people online by default previously is now only achieved at peak hours. We jumped to Lv.7 with the idea of progressing further as a legion, and thus I cannot allow us falling back to our previous, dormant state. If we do, we will never reach Lv.8; 168x Muada & 62.5kk AP is not something a group of 3-5 players can carry.
